Whole Grain Oat Cookies

This is a recipe I love to make because it is easy and quick. Kids love to take them to school as a snack; they are very nutritious and healthy because they are whole grain and also contain honey.

1/4 cups sugar
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons honey
2/3 cups raisins
1 cup oats
3/4 whole-wheat flour
1 egg
1 pinch salt
Preparation

Low
Add honey and salt to the butter and beat.
Gradually add the sugar and the well-beaten egg and mix.
Incorporate the raisins, oats, and whole wheat flour.
Form small balls, place them on a baking sheet, and flatten them.
Bake for 10 minutes and remove them once they are well golden.
Detach them from the baking sheet when they are cool.
