Add the condensed milk and cocoa powder, and mix with a wooden spoon. Stir continuously until the brigadeiro thickens, about 30 minutes. You know it's ready when you can see the bottom of the pot when you move the spoon aside and it takes a moment to cover it again.
Allow it to cool.
Grease your hands with butter and use a spoon to form balls with the brigadeiro. Place the balls in the chocolate sprinkles and arrange them on a plate or on candy wrappers.
