1 stick unsalted butter
3/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
2 egg whites
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup cow's milk

Preheat the oven to 180° C and prepare two 15 cm pans with non-stick spray.
In a bowl, beat the butter until creamy, add the sugar, vanilla, and egg yolks.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder and add it to the previous mixture, alternating with the milk.
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the previous mixture.
Pour the mixture into the two pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before unmolding.
