No-Bake Nutella Cake

  • 2 cups cow's milk, (for the crepes)
  • 4 eggs, (for the crepes)
  • 1/2 sticks butter, melted (45 g, for the crepes)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, (for the crepes)
  • 2 cups flour, passed through a sieve (for the crepes)
  • 1 cup nutella, (for the crepes)
  • 1/2 cups hazelnuts, ¼ cup chopped and the rest halved
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream, (for the topping)
  • 1/2 cups dark chocolate, (for the topping)

  • For the crepes: mix all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter. Heat a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat, with a ladle pour a bit of the mixture in the center of the skillet, spreading the batter in circular motions over the entire surface to form a thin layer. Cook for 2 minutes and flip the crepe. Repeat until the crepe batter is finished.
  • For the filling: mix the Nutella with the chopped hazelnuts. Set aside.
  • For the topping: in a small pot, heat the heavy cream over low heat until it starts to boil. Remove from heat and pour over the chopped chocolate, mixing the mixture very well. Set aside.
  • To assemble the cake: place one crepe on top of another, adding a tablespoon of the Nutella filling between each crepe. Cover with the chocolate topping and sprinkle the halved hazelnuts on top.
