1 cup rice
3 cups water
1 stick cinnamon
1 pinch salt
4 cups cow's milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cups raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
cinnamon powder

Put rice in a large pot with water, cinnamon stick, and salt.
Heat over high heat until it starts to boil, then reduce heat and cover until almost all the water is absorbed.
Add the milk and sugar, increase the heat and stir until it thickens.
Add the vanilla and cook for 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 25 minutes.
Serve in individual cups, decorate with raisins and ground cinnamon.
