Boil the milk together with the powdered strawberry flavoring over medium-low heat.
Place the egg yolks and cornstarch in a bowl, then mix with a whisk until the preparation is well integrated and appears a very light yellow.
Place a little of the hot milk into the egg mixture and stir constantly to prevent cooking.
In the pot where you boiled the milk, add the egg and milk mixture, return to a boil over medium heat, and using a whisk, stir constantly to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Once it boils, remove from heat. Add the softened butter, mix in, and let cool.
Serve the strawberry custard in glass cups and decorate with mint leaves and strawberries.
