Delicious sweet gorditas that you can fry or place on the griddle if you want to avoid grease.

  • 1 kilo masa dough
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons liquid vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • Knead the dough with all the ingredients; if it's hard, add a little water.
  • Once your dough is ready, make small portions and shape your gorditas.
  • Fry in oil and place on the griddle over medium heat, covering until they are well cooked inside.
