Melt the butter, crush the cookies, and mix them with the butter to form a paste. Use this to line a pie mold, covering the bottom and sides, then place it in the freezer for approximately 20 minutes.
The gelatin is hydrated in the syrup and dissolved in the microwave for 25 seconds, then set aside. In the blender, combine the cream cheese, condensed milk, half-and-half, and 6 slices of mango, and blend everything very well. Finally, add the gelatin dissolved in the syrup and blend for 2 more minutes, and it's ready.
Pour the previous mixture onto the pie crust and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let it set completely.
The remaining 2 slices of mango are cut into strips and, when the pie is firm, decorate to taste.
Each slice can be served with a scoop of your preferred flavor of ice cream.
The mixture yields enough for 2 pies.
