Eggless Lemon Cake

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter , at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Make a well and add the butter, milk, vanilla, and lemon juice in the center. Finally, incorporate the lemon zest.
  • Stir everything until all the ingredients are combined into a smooth mixture.
  • Butter and flour a mold and pour in the mixture. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Insert a toothpick and take the cake out of the oven when it comes out clean.
  • Wait for it to cool before removing from the mold.
