Medium
Sift the flour with the baking powder onto the table, make a well, and in the center, place the lard in pieces, the sugar, and the eggs.
Start integrating everything little by little until a manageable dough forms.
We make small balls of approximately 3 cm and with a tortilla press, we flatten them without making them too thin. Approximately 1 cm thick.
Form pairs. On one, place a little cajeta in the center and place the other on top, sealing the sides with your fingers or a fork.
Arrange on greased and floured baking sheets and brush with the egg yolks.
We are going to bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven; they will look slightly golden at the edges, let them cool, and you can decorate with powdered sugar if desired. Enjoy!
