  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 11 grams dry yeast
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup clotted cream
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup pastry cream
  • egg, for brushing
  • sesame seeds, for decorating
  • walnuts, finely chopped, for decorating

  • In a bowl, add the flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, egg, and start kneading until integrated. Gradually add the cream, butter, milk, vanilla essence, and continue until you have an elastic and homogeneous dough.
  • Place the dough in a previously greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  • Knead the dough, place it on a floured surface, and divide the dough into three. With your hands, shape 3 rolls and braid them together. Place the bread on a baking tray. Set aside.
  • Using a wooden stick, press the center of the braid and add the pastry cream, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let it rise for 15 minutes and bake for 35 minutes at 180°C.
  • Let it cool, decorate with nuts, and enjoy.
