1 baking powder

3/4 cups water
4 unsalted butter
1 oil
1 stick cinnamon
5 guavas, ripe
250 piloncillos
1/2 cups water, boiling

For the sauce: In a pot, place the piloncillo and add boiling water along with the cinnamon and guavas.
Cook until it has the texture of honey, remove the cinnamon.
Blend and strain through a sieve
For the buñuelos: Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Make a well in the center and add the egg and water. Beat on low speed.
Add the butter and continue beating for another 10 to 12 minutes.
Grease another bowl with butter and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 12 to 15 balls, place them on a baking sheet, and cover them with a towel.
Sprinkle a surface with flour, roll out each ball until you have a very thin circle.
Let them dry for another 10 minutes.
Fry them one by one in enough oil, let them cook for 20 seconds and then flip them. Transfer to a paper towel to absorb the grease.
Sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon and serve with the sauce.
