2 cups water
1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cups honey
1/2 tablespoons vanilla essence
300 grams fig, natural

In a pot, combine water and sugar and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir the water to help the sugar dissolve.
Add the honey and continue mixing. Add the vanilla and the figs, and allow to come back to a boil.
Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 more minutes.
Remove from heat and transfer to a platter; let it cool completely before serving.
