Cajeta and Walnut Flan

Flan is one of our favorite desserts, due to its delicate, smooth, and rich consistency. Prepare this different version of flan, with the unique flavor that only cajeta can provide, along with a touch of cream cheese, which makes it even more special and gives it the ideal consistency.

  • 1 cup cajeta
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cajeta
  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup pecans
  • strawberries

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  • Pour the cajeta into a flan mold and spread it over the entire surface.
  • Blend the evaporated milk, 1 ½ cups of cajeta, the cheese, and the eggs until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • Carefully pour over the cajeta, bake for 45 minutes in a water bath, covering with aluminum if necessary. Let cool and refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • Unmold and decorate with more cajeta, walnuts, and strawberries.
