Flan and Cookie Cake
Delicious surprise for sharing, this cold dessert is a cake made of cookies and flan. My mom always loved surrounding her children with a sweet treat at Christmas; it was very pleasing for her to see all her kids (there were 6 of us) gathered to enjoy her dessert. My mom passed away when I was young, but the taste of this dessert has stayed with me over the years, and now as an adult, I share it with my siblings who always praise me saying it tastes like mom's!

- 300 milliliters clotted cream

- We make the flan with the milk as the recipe says.
- While we soak the cookies in the glass of milk with the liquor.
- Once the cookies are soaked, in a container, we alternate cookies and then a bit of flan until both the cookies and flan run out.
- In a pot, we put the cream until it boils, then remove it from the heat and add the chocolate in pieces, stirring until the chocolate melts and integrates.
- We pour this chocolate cream over the flan and cookies and let it cool until just before serving.
