  • 6 winter squash, mini
  • water
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cloves
  • 2 tablespoons nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons ginger powder
  • 1/4 cups milk
  • 6 cups milk
  • 2 bags Flan D'Gari® vanilla flavor

  • Cut the top off the pumpkin, scoop out the flesh with a spoon, and set aside 1 ½ cups.
  • Cook the pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and ground ginger in a pot with enough water for 30 minutes or until soft.
  • Blend the pumpkin with ¼ cup of milk until you obtain a puree. Set aside.
  • Heat the milk, add Flan D’Gari® vanilla flavor and the pumpkin puree. Mix until well combined, without boiling.
  • Pour the flan mixture into the pumpkins and refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
  • Sprinkle the pumpkin flan with sugar and use a torch to caramelize the sugar.
