Floating Strawberry Jelly with Cream

You never imagined such a fun and original jelly, encapsulated with a delicious strawberry sponge cake, with vanilla jelly and filled with another delicious strawberry jelly. Together they form the perfect combination of flavor.

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • For the strawberry cake, in a mixer add the butter and sugar, beat until it changes color, add the eggs one by one and beat for 5 more minutes.
  • Gradually add the flour, Rexal® baking powder, baking soda, salt, milk, strawberry essence, and pink coloring, beat for 10 minutes.
  • Pour into a previously floured and greased mold, bake for 30 minutes, let cool and set aside.
  • For the vanilla jelly, add the D´Gari® vanilla jelly powder to the hot milk, dissolve. Set aside.
  • Pour the vanilla jelly over the strawberry sponge cake, refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  • For the strawberry jelly, add the D´Gari® strawberry jelly powder to the hot milk. Set aside.
  • Using your fingers, lightly crumble the sponge cake and the jelly, and pour the strawberry jelly, reaching the bottom of the mold and ensuring that the strawberry jelly encapsulates the filling. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  • Unmold and decorate with strawberries.
