With less than 5 ingredients, you can prepare this exquisite flourless chocolate cake. It's ideal for celiacs or for enjoying a low-carb chocolate cake.
1/2 kilos bittersweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces
115 grams butter
9 eggs, large, separated egg yolks from egg whites
2 cups sugar
icing sugar, for decoration

Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180°C. Grease a 23 cm springform pan.
Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler and let them melt. Be careful not to burn them and stir occasionally.
Meanwhile, beat the egg yolks with the sugar using a mixer until they turn a pale yellow color. Add a bit of the melted chocolate and butter mixture and stir. Then add the rest of the chocolate mixture and stir.
Beat the egg whites in a mixer until stiff peaks form, and gently fold into the chocolate mixture.
Pour the mixture into the greased pan and bake until the cake is cooked and starts to crack on top. About 20-25 minutes.
Let it cool on a rack for 10 minutes and remove from the pan.
Dust with powdered sugar.
