4 red apples
1/4 cups raw sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
4 teaspoons butter
1 cup water, boiling
walnuts, chopped (optional)
raisins, (optional)

Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Wash the apples very well, dry them and remove the core with a Parisian spoon, being careful to only remove half without piercing the bottom.
In a bowl mix the brown sugar, raisins, chopped walnuts, and ground cinnamon.
Stuff the apples with the mixture, it should not exceed the edge.
Place a tablespoon of butter on top of each one.
Arrange them in a baking dish, and pour boiling water inside.
Bake at 190°C for 30 minutes or until the apples look soft but not mushy.
Remove from the oven, serve them drizzled with the juices from the dish.
Accompany with your favorite ice cream.
