Candied Nuts

Candied nuts can be used to accompany a dessert or to eat as a snack in the afternoon since they retain the properties of the nuts but gain more flavor due to the caramel.

  • 200 grams nut , peeled
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1/2 cups water
  • unsalted butter

  • In a medium saucepan, cook the water and sugar over medium heat. Add the nuts once the sugar has melted.
  • Constantly stirring, monitor the cooking of the sugar. When the sugar has turned into a clear syrup, remove from heat.
  • Grease a large baking tray with butter and pour the candied nuts onto it, separating them.
