Candied nuts can be used to accompany a dessert or to eat as a snack in the afternoon since they retain the properties of the nuts but gain more flavor due to the caramel.

200 grams nut , peeled
250 grams sugar
1/2 cups water
unsalted butter

In a medium saucepan, cook the water and sugar over medium heat. Add the nuts once the sugar has melted.
Constantly stirring, monitor the cooking of the sugar. When the sugar has turned into a clear syrup, remove from heat.
Grease a large baking tray with butter and pour the candied nuts onto it, separating them.
