Caramel apples are a healthy and delicious dessert for kids. They can be topped with chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or crushed cookies.

1 bag chewy candies
2 tablespoons water
5 apples, washed and dried

Insert a wooden stick in the place of each apple's stem.
Place the unwrapped candies with the tablespoons of water in a microwave-safe container.
Heat the microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring well after each minute.
After 3 minutes, stir until everything is melted.
Dip each apple in the caramel until fully covered.
Place the apples on a tray lined with wax paper.
Let it rest for about 30 minutes or until the caramel is hard.
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
