Caramel Apples

Caramel apples are a healthy and delicious dessert for kids. They can be topped with chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or crushed cookies.

  • 1 bag chewy candies
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 5 apples, washed and dried

  • Insert a wooden stick in the place of each apple's stem.
  • Place the unwrapped candies with the tablespoons of water in a microwave-safe container.
  • Heat the microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring well after each minute.
  • After 3 minutes, stir until everything is melted.
  • Dip each apple in the caramel until fully covered.
  • Place the apples on a tray lined with wax paper.
  • Let it rest for about 30 minutes or until the caramel is hard.
  • Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
