Wash all the fruits.
Cut the peduncle or stem off the top and the bottom or base of the guavas, figs, and tejocotes.
Cut the apples and pears into large cubes.
In a pot, add the piloncillo, the fruits, cloves, and anise.
Pour in water until the fruits are covered, but care must be taken not to spill over the pot.
Bring to high heat until it begins to boil, then let it simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes.
Serve hot in bowls, and it can be accompanied with milk.
