Flamed Peaches

A simple dessert but with a fresh flavor, these flamed peaches with a hint of mint are delicious to finish any meal.

  • 4 canned peaches
  • 2 balls unsalted butter
  • sugar , necessary amount
  • Mint liquor
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • vanilla ice cream
  • cinnamon powder, a little

  • Wash the peaches to remove the syrup.
  • In a skillet like the ones used for flaming crêpes or other preparations, add sugar to taste.
  • Once you see that a caramel is forming, add the butter and the peaches. Turn them so that all the peaches absorb the caramel and the butter.
  • Add the mint liqueur and a little cinnamon. Light the flame.
  • Once it is boiling, turn off and serve on a plate, decorating with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a cherry.
