Peel and wash the bananas, cut into slices about 1 finger thick, and brown them in hot oil.
Drain them well and place them between two sheets of plastic wrap. Flatten them with the help of a cutting board so they become nice and thin. Soak them for a few minutes in water with crushed garlic, then drain and add salt.
Fry them again until they are nicely browned, drain on paper towels, and serve immediately.
