Melon in White Wine

  • 1 melon , of good size
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 6 sprigs mint leaf

  • Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds. Scoop out the flesh into pearls or small balls, or cut it into cubes and distribute them into 6 cups.
  • In a bowl, mix the wine with the ginger and the sugar until the sugar has dissolved; distribute the wine into the 6 cups.
  • Garnish each cup with a sprig of mint placed on the rim.
