Wash and peel the pears, leaving the stem (twig) intact. Core the pear from the bottom to be able to fill it with mascarpone cheese.
Place them in a pot, adding sugar, wine, water, and cinnamon. Simmer until the pears take on the color of the wine and their consistency is syrup-like.
Place in the refrigerator, and when serving, use a piping bag to fill the pear with mascarpone cheese.
Serve on a porcelain plate with a little of the syrup and garnish with mint leaves.
