This dessert originates from London, from the chef of the Carlton Hotel, but it was popularized by Michael Romanoff, a Russian chef and actor who had a famous restaurant on Rodeo Drive (Los Angeles).
1 tablespoon orange liqueur , Grand Marnier or Cointreau
1 orange
100 milliliters clotted cream, for whipping
3 tablespoons sugar , white
1 corsage mint leaf

Wash the strawberries, then remove the stems and cut them in half.
In a bowl, mix the sour cream, brown sugar, orange liqueur, and orange juice. Set aside.
In another bowl, whip the cream using a whisk, and when it is whipped, add the white sugar. Continue beating until it has a firm consistency. Add the sour cream mixture and continue mixing until achieving a smooth sauce.
Plate by layering strawberries and Romanoff sauce alternately in a cup.
Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
