Strawberry Fruit Roll Ups

Strawberry Fruit Roll Ups are delicious strawberry rolls covered with sugar, and tasting this treat will transport you back to your childhood. They are perfect as desserts or as a snack.   • 4 cups strawberries
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice

  • Preheat the oven to 100° C.
  • Cut the stems off the strawberries.
  • Blend the fruit, sugar, and lemon in a blender until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour this mixture into a pot, bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook for 35 to 45 minutes.
  • Spread the mixture over a silicone mat, aiming to achieve a very thin layer. If you do not have a silicone mat, cut parchment paper into a rectangle measuring 30.5 x 42.5 cm and place it on a baking tray. Spread the fruit mixture over the parchment paper, trying to make a very thin layer.
  • Bake for 3 to 3.5 hours.
  • Let the preparation cool for 20 minutes. If you cooked it on a silicone mat, place a piece of parchment paper over the fruit mixture in the shape of a rectangle measuring 30.5 x 42.5 cm. Remove the silicone mat from the fruit mixture, and with this, the fruit roll will stick to the parchment paper.
  • Cut strips of the strawberry roll 3 cm thick.
