Gelatin Tamales

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 envelopes strawberry gelatin, with milk
  • 1/2 cups raisins
  • corn husk for tamale

  • Combine the water, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and oats in a pot. Heat over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Blend until combined and pour the mixture into a bowl.
  • When the mixture is still warm, dissolve the strawberry gelatin with a whisk.
  • Spread two tablespoons of the mixture on a corn husk, add some raisins, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Serve the gelatin tamales and pair with a pot coffee.
