Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave, once melted remove from heat and set aside.
In a bowl, add the 4 eggs, the 2 yolks, the sugar, and beat vigorously until the mixture is frothy and doubles in size; it will be ready when, after doubling in size, there is no foam on the surface.
Gently fold in the melted but cooled butter, followed by the well-mixed flour and baking powder.
Grease a mold with butter, line it with aluminum foil, and grease it as well, then pour the mixture into the mold and place it in the oven at 200ºC for about 10 minutes or until a tester or knife inserted comes out clean.
