Grandma's Banana Bread

Delicious banana bread perfect to enjoy with a cup of coffee. It's great for sharing with loved ones or as a gift.

  • 10 bananas, ripe
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 90 grams margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar, powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mash the bananas in a bowl along with the margarine.
  • Add the eggs and a splash of vanilla.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Pour into a previously greased and floured mold. Bake for 45 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out dry when inserted.
