Green Tea Cookies

Green tea cookies are delicious. You can use them to accompany green tea or any tea or even coffee.

  • 4 teaspoons green tea, powdered
  • 3/4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 3/4 cups flour , sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 cups unsalted butter
  • 3 egg yolks

  • Mix the powdered sugar with the green tea powder.
  • Add the butter and beat until creamy.
  • Add the egg yolks one at a time until well incorporated.
  • Gradually add the flour and salt to the butter mixture.
  • With your hands, form a ball of dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Form circles (preferably cut with a cutter for a uniform shape).
  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for approximately 12 minutes at 175ºC.
