Grilled Pineapple with Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 1 pineapple, sweet
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 liters vanilla ice cream

  • Peel the pineapple and cut it lengthwise, leaving a bit of the core. Then slice into 2 cm thick pieces. Melt butter and brush it onto the pineapple.
  • Grill or preheat the oven to 450ºF and place aluminum foil on a baking sheet, then lay the pineapple slices on top. Brown for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping when ready on each side.
  • Remove from the oven and once warm, serve on individual plates with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
