Fritters are typical of this holiday season, and these crispy and spectacular fritters will delight you; they are very easy to make, and when dipped in guava honey, they will simply melt in your mouth.
Mix the guava, water, cinnamon, anise, and Splenda Sugar Blend® in a pot. Bring to a boil.
Add the starch to the cold water until completely dissolved and add to the guava mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens. Remove from heat and let cool.
With the help of a rolling pin, roll out the dough discs for the fritters until they are thin and fry in hot oil until golden, absorbing the fat with paper towels.
Serve the fritters with the guava honey.
