1 cup sugar
2 pods cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 melon flavored drink mix
1 teaspoon clove, whole
4 cups water

All ingredients are placed in a medium-sized pot and cooked over medium heat.
Once it starts to boil, reduce to low heat and cook until the water has thickened somewhat.
Remove from heat and serve.
