Halloween Donuts

These donuts are perfect for Halloween parties; your kids will love them.

  • 4 cups milk chocolate, in pieces
  • 3 tablespoons yeast
  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 units egg
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 3 cups wheat flour, sifted
  • 1/2 liters vegetable oil, edible
  • 1 cup orange chocolate chip

  • With the help of a fork, crumble the yeast.
  • Form a circle with a hole in the center using 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of flour.
  • Place the yeast in the center and add 3/4 cup of warm milk to dissolve the yeast.
  • Incorporate the flour gradually and 3 tablespoons of margarine until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Let the dough rest for thirty minutes, covering it with a damp cloth in a metal container.
  • Mix the remaining ingredients: flour, eggs, margarine, milk, and sugar.
  • When the volume of the dough that was left to rest has increased, mix it with the other. Once mixed, place them in a metal container.
  • Let it rest for an hour until it has doubled in size and cover it with a damp cloth.
  • Knead and roll out with the help of a rolling pin, achieving a thickness of approximately 2 cm. Cut the large circumference into donut shapes and the center hole of the donuts.
  • Place the donuts and let them rest for about thirty minutes or until they have doubled in volume.
  • Then fry the donuts in very hot oil.
  • Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes while melting the milk chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Dip half of the donut in the melted chocolate.
  • Add the orange chocolate chips on top of the melted chocolate of the donut for the final touch.
