Halloween Strawberries

For the next Halloween party, these decorated Halloween Strawberries are very easy to make, plus you need very few ingredients to decorate them. You only need strawberries, white chocolate, milk chocolate, and edible colorants.

  • 450 grams white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons lard
  • 12 strawberries, with leaves
  • 50 grams dark chocolate chips
  • fondant
  • food coloring, in various colors

  • Place some toothpicks on the side of the strawberry leaves.
  • Melt the white chocolate along with the cocoa butter in a double boiler.
  • Separate the white chocolate and color it with different food coloring such as green, black, orange, and leave one white.
  • Hold the strawberries by the toothpicks, dip the tips of the strawberries into the melted chocolate.
  • Place the strawberry on a tray lined with wax paper (so the chocolate doesn't stick).
  • Put the strawberries in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened.
  • Using fondant, make small balls, triangles, or squares to simulate eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Paint them with food coloring.
  • When the chocolate on the strawberries has hardened, add the eyes, etc., to each one.
