In a somewhat deep pot, preferably non-stick, add all the ingredients and put it on high heat, stirring continuously.
When it starts to boil, lower the heat but never stop stirring.
It will take a while, but you will see that a kind of foam starts to form and dry out; keep stirring, it will get heavier.
But do not stop stirring.
The moment will come when the sugar will dry out again, no worries, just keep going.
After a while, the already caramelized and very heavy sugar will melt again; lower the heat to the minimum and stir until most of the sugar sticks to the peanuts. Be careful not to let it go too far, or it will turn into a hard candy.
When the sugar has stuck to the peanuts, remove it from the heat and spread it on a clean surface to cool.
Enjoy them with your family once they are completely cool.
