Place in a saucepan: 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, honey, and 2 tablespoons of butter. Whisk together and keep over low heat until everything is perfectly combined.
Remove the mixture from the heat and set aside. Beat the eggs in a bowl and incorporate them into the saucepan. Mix vigorously until the eggs are combined with the mixture.
Add the baking powder, flour, and 1 cup of Alpen Original cereal, and stir until there are no lumps. The consistency should be pasty.
You should be able to knead with your hands without the dough sticking; add a little more flour if necessary.
Cut the dough into 8 equal parts while the dough is still warm. Dust a rolling pin and a flat surface with flour, and roll out a portion of dough. It should be 1 cm thick; you can shape it into a rectangle or circle using a plate or some round object.
Bake for 5 minutes or until the dough turns golden at 180°C. Repeat these steps until you achieve the desired number of layers.
For the cream cheese frosting: Whip the cream, and once it’s whipped, add the cream cheese. Continue whipping and gradually incorporate the powdered sugar. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Spread a little frosting on each layer and cover the sides until everything is completely covered.
Grind the cereal in a food processor or blender until it has texture.
Cover the cake completely with it.
