Honey Grape Cake

This honey grape cake recipe, besides being simple, is perfect for the immune system.

  • 1 kilo grapes
  • 50 grams honey
  • 500 grams flour
  • 25 grams butter
  • 35 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 100 grams walnuts, chopped
  • 10 grams baker's yeast

  • Wash and disinfect the grapes; if they have seeds, remove them. Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
  • Reduce the grapes in a saucepan over low heat; when the reduction is slightly lighter than that of a jam, turn off the heat and let rest at room temperature.
  • Mix the flour, butter, oil, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and combine until obtaining a smooth dough; let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll each out to form equal rectangles.
  • Place two of the rectangles on a baking sheet and add the grape sauce, walnuts, and a little ground cinnamon, cover with the other rectangles and brush with honey.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, remove from the oven and let cool.
