Open the can of pineapple and measure the syrup, then add water until you get 3 1/2 cups. Place it in a pot, heat it, and dissolve the pineapple gelatin.
Pour a little of this gelatin into a previously greased mold, enough to cover the bottom, and refrigerate until set. Place pineapple slices with a cherry in the center.
In another container, place one cup of gelatin until it sets and then cut it into small cubes.
Let the rest of the gelatin cool in a container, once it starts to set, beat it at medium speed until it’s frothy and pour this mixture over the mold with the pineapple slices; add the reserved cubes.
Refrigerate until firm and unmold.
