Gelatin with Almonds

  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder, Knox
  • 1 cup water, hot
  • 1/2 cups almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cups almonds, ground

  • Dissolve the 4 packets of gelatin in the cup of hot water, mixing well until there are no lumps.
  • In another container, mix all the other ingredients, except for the chopped almonds. Once well combined, add the glass of water and gelatin and mix everything until homogeneous.
  • Pour the mixture into a mold of your choice and place it in the refrigerator. Wait for it to set and then unmold.
  • Finally, sprinkle the chopped almonds on top of the gelatin.
