Lemon and Cucumber Gelatin

  • 1 1/2 cups water of roses
  • 400 grams lime gelatin
  • 2 cups water of roses, fried, divided amount
  • 1 cup ice cubes, cubes
  • 1 cucumber, large, peeled
  • 1/4 tablespoons chile powder

  • Add the hot water to the gelatins in a medium bowl; stir for 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
  • Incorporate 1 1/2 cups of cold water.
  • Refrigerate the gelatin, stirring every 15 minutes, for 45 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Add the remaining cold water to the ice in a separate medium bowl.
  • Use a vegetable peeler to slice 6 thin strips along the cucumber; place them in ice water.
  • Remove the seeds from the remaining cucumber and grate it; blend it and incorporate it into the gelatin.
  • Pour the gelatin into a 9x5 inch loaf pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Refrigerate for 3 hours until firm.
  • Unmold onto a plate just before serving. Garnish with cucumber slices and ground chili.
