Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
Roll out the dough but not too thin. With the lightly beaten egg (just to mix the white and yolk), brush the puff pastry.
Sprinkle sugar. Roll towards the center from both sides.
Brush the outside with egg and sprinkle more sugar.
Cut slices 1 cm wide and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then sprinkle more sugar on top.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until you see them golden brown.
Let cool on a wire rack.
