Little ears

A classic recipe for little ears, perfect for coffee time with friends or as a sweet snack in the afternoon.

  • Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  • Roll out the dough but not too thin. With the lightly beaten egg (just to mix the white and yolk), brush the puff pastry.
  • Sprinkle sugar. Roll towards the center from both sides.
  • Brush the outside with egg and sprinkle more sugar.
  • Cut slices 1 cm wide and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then sprinkle more sugar on top.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until you see them golden brown.
  • Let cool on a wire rack.
