Lying Eggs

Gelatin made inside eggshells with peaches in syrup.

  • 20 eggs
  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 can canned peaches

  • The eggshells are cleaned, leaving only a small hole at the top.
  • Heat the milk with the sugar without boiling in a small pot.
  • Remove from heat and pour in the dissolved gelatin in a cup of cold water and dissolved in a water bath. Mix everything.
  • Pour into the shells leaving space, refrigerate until partially set, and at the end place a small piece of peach to simulate the yolk.
  • Refrigerate until fully set.
