If you enjoy making simple desserts, then enjoy this soluble coffee marble ring; you will love it! The best part is that this bread is sweetened with honey.
In a mixer with a paddle attachment, beat the butter and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy and slightly white in color. Gradually pour in the honey and incorporate while continuing to beat.
Lower the mixer speed and add the egg and vanilla essence, gradually incorporating the flour along with the baking powder and milk, alternating the ingredients. Once you have a fluffy and slightly thick mixture, stop mixing. Set aside.
Dissolve the soluble coffee in the milk, stirring with a spoon until all the coffee granules have dissolved. Set aside.
Divide the pound cake mixture into two equal portions. In one portion of the dough, pour in the diluted coffee and gently fold until you achieve a homogeneous mixture.
Preheat your oven to 170 °C.
Alternate the mixtures for the marble pound cake in a previously floured ring mold, placing spoonfuls of the light mixture and then spoonfuls of the coffee mixture until the mold is filled to ¾ of its capacity. Then, using a wooden skewer, create zigzag waves by passing through the mixture only once.
Bake the marble soluble coffee pound cake for 40 minutes at 170 °C or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven, let cool on a rack, and serve with honey and chopped walnuts.
