Marzipan and Chocolate Log

  • 125 grams mazapán
  • 50 grams semisweet chocolate
  • 50 grams icing sugar
  • 1 egg white

  • In a deep bowl, mix the marzipan with the powdered sugar. Add 1/2 egg white and knead well. Let it cool for 30 minutes.
  • Take the marzipan and shape it into a long log on a sheet of plastic. Leave it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  • In a double boiler, melt the chocolate.
  • Using a chocolate spatula, cover the marzipan log with chocolate. You can cover one side first, and when it is dry, cover the other side.
  • Put it back in plastic and store it in the refrigerator.
