Prepare a two-liter pot (that fits inside another one and that both can be covered well).
In the inner pot, pour in the cup of sugar and place it over low heat to caramelize the bottom and sides; stir until it has a honey color.
In a bowl, add the eggs, the milks, the vanilla, and the cheese; blend for 5 minutes until it has a little froth and pour it into the pot with the caramel. Cover it and place it inside the other pot with water and cover it as well.
Boil for 1 hour and check that it is cooked by inserting a knife and ensuring it comes out clean. Let it cool to unmold.
