Milk Gelatin with Fruit Mix

This two-layer gelatin is very creamy and at the same time has an explosion of flavors from the combination of fruits in its second layer, making it the perfect dessert for any occasion.

  • 1 can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder, 7 g
  • 1/4 cups water, for the gelatin
  • 2 cups cow's milk
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder, 7 g
  • 1/4 cups water

  • In a small pot over medium heat, cook the fruits with the water and sugar; once it starts to boil, turn off the heat.
  • Hydrate a packet of gelatin with ¼ cup of water and add it to the pot, mix very well until fully integrated.
  • Pour the gelatin into a gelatin mold and refrigerate for 1.5 hours or until set.
  • Meanwhile, heat the milk with the sugar in a pot until the sugar dissolves.
  • Hydrate the rest of the gelatin with the remaining water and pour it into the milk, mix very well and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Once the fruit gelatin has set, add the milk mixture and refrigerate for another hour and a half or until set. Unmold and serve.
