Choco-Cheese Muffin

My eldest son loves cheese, and for his birthday, I’m preparing something very special. I came up with this bread using his favorite ingredients: cheese and chocolate.

  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 1 package oreo-type cookie , 72 grams.
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 60 grams sugar
  • 250 grams flour
  • 1 egg
  • 60 milliliters cow's milk
  • 90 grams unsalted butter

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  • Open the cookies, remove the creamy filling, and crush them. Reserve the filling.
  • Grease and flour the muffin molds.
  • Beat the Philadelphia cream cheese with the butter for 3 minutes.
  • Add the sugar, the egg, and beat well.
  • Add the milk and the flour alternately with the baking powder, making sure to finish with flour.
  • Add the crushed cookie and mix with a spatula until combined.
  • Pour the reserved cookie filling into the prepared molds, place it on top of the mixture as decoration, and bake at 180ºC for 20 minutes.
